Basing now finished, so I thought a quick shot of both completed units was in order.
Apologies for the quality of the image. These two units, together with another five similar ones, will form the core of the Seleucid Raphia forces. Back to the last batch of Arabs!
Looking very good! I'll catch up with you over the OOB, in the next day or so. Cheers, Simon
ReplyDeleteCraig, I'm in awe of the quality AND quantity that you and Simon are capable of producing. Simply amazing...
ReplyDeleteBlimey!!! That´s one "heavy" looking pikeblock!!
ReplyDeleteI must say you have produced one awesome army! I suspect Simon your presentation will be when superb spectacle!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
awesome! you just cant beat a big block of pike!
ReplyDeleteSo...jealous...must...not...hate...skilled...modeler...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments guys!
ReplyDeleteNot all of this block were painted at once; I did 32 initially, expanded to 64 and now expanded again to two blocks of 48. The Aventine advancing pike figure is much harder work than the standing one; not really sure why! I also have two blocks of 48 of these as well. These together with three blocks of Foundry will form the Seleucid centre. Still plenty of work to do though!
Whoa!
